Our Valentine's Day

We had such a fun Valentine's Day this year! I usually work Saturdays so it was a lot of fun for me and Kyle to just hang out all morning. We were just lazy all morning, playing with Brynlee. Then we went to get lunch at Kyle's newest favorite lunch spot-Senor Taco. Which was surprisingly good. Then we took our Brynlee to my parents house and thankfully my family agreed to babysit for us. It was so much fun to be with just Kyle for a change. Usually we go out with friends, or we're off getting stuff done when we have a babysitter. So it was so fun to go out just the two of us. We went to cheesecake factory and to"He's Just Not That Into You". By the end of the night though we were missing Brynlee. It's funny how hard it is to be away from our little munchkin...I hope everyone had a fun Valentine's Day this year!

Things I am loving right now. How appropriate...it's Valentine's Day Weekend...

1. I love my necklace my sister-in-law Amber made me. It's so cute! It turned out just how I wanted it. You should all go check out her blog because these necklaces are awesome. ardesigns.blogspot.com

2. While I'm talking about the sister-in-laws, I just finished a little scrapbook for Brynlee with all of the amazing pictures Haleigh took when she was born. I looove them. I can't believe how different Brynlee looks now...she's gotten so big! So you should check out her website full of her fabulous photography...snapallaz.com ( I don't have any of the pictures on this computer...but maybe I'll post her little photoshoot later...)

3. Oh how I've missed this movie. I don't know how but I completely forgot about it. Kyle went over to a friend's house the other night, so me and Brynlee decided to watch this hopelessly romantic movie. I couldn't stop grinning the entire movie. I LOVE it. Every part of it is incredible. Once it was over I really wanted to start it over again. I think I could watch it a million times and never get sick of it...

4. haha I know it's weird, why would modge podge be on my "i love list"? But I love it! You can pretty much make anything with modge podge. I've been in a very crafty mood lately so this has been my best friend...

5. And last but not least...

This little girl and her dad. (You didn't think I'd do a post without her in it, did you?) She is such a daddy's girl it's ridiculous. It's the cutest thing! She was throwing a fit the other day, and then Kyle called. I was so frustrated trying to get her to calm down and trying to answer the phone at the same time. Just to be funny I told Kyle to tell Brynlee to stop crying. I put the phone to Brynlee's ear and as soon as she heard Kyle talking to her....she stopped. In the middle of her tantrum she looked up at me and back at the phone and started smiling and got all excited. Too bad for Kyle that I discovered this trick...he's going to be getting a lot of calls from me during the day :)

-The first picture is of Brynlee in her favorite little chair...the bumbo! I think she likes it so much because she feels big...thanks aunt alisa! (and yes that is family feud in the background. don't judge me.)

-Kyle and Brynlee fell asleep right as we were supposed to be leaving for dinner tonight...precious :)
-Brynlee kills me she always grabs her face in her sleep. I love that we leave her wherever she is when she falls asleep. Playing with her fishies wears her out!
-Kyle and Isaac decided to start up ice hockey? random? yes.
-Me and Brynlee watching them learn how to play...it was pretty funny. Brynlee got bored of watching them so she watched the tv. surprise surprise.
-She sat up by herself!! woohoo. Ok so maybe she was falling as I was taking the picture but still she sat up for a couple of seconds. That's progress...

She did it!

Brynlee finally decided to roll over! She's been so close for so long she just never took the plunge and went all the way. She was so proud of herself when she did it, it was way too cute :) I can't believe how big she's getting, it's incredible how fast it goes!

...what to do...

So I couldn't sleep tonight...a combination of a headache and my brain wouldn't stop thinking. I hate when that happens. It doesn't happen often to me, I usually can fall asleep pretty much anytime, anywhere. So I finally fell asleep at about 12:30 and i hear a little whimper from my adorable daughter across the room. Of course I wasn't thinking she was so adorable at the time. I was thinking "really Brynlee, now? You wake up now, now that I can finally fall asleep? you would." So I unsuccesfully try to give her a binky to help her fall back asleep. After the fourth time getting out of bed to put it back in her mouth I decided this was not working...So I bit the bullet and got up to make her a bottle. I thought this would for sure do the trick. I mean she's waking up because she's hungry right? wrong. I give her the bottle and wait for her to peacefully fall back asleep. But then I look down and with her milk covered face and her bottle hanging halfway out of her goofy little smile, and I decided she was adorable again. At the same time I realized she wasn't waking up for meal time...she thought it was playtime. So I'm sitting here writing this and she's sitting next to me like she's 14, not 4 months, staring at the screen and then looking up at me like she understands what I'm writing. It's ridiculously cute and I'm annoyed that she can get anything she wants and I'll do it with a huge smile because she's so dang cute! So ANYways I think I've decided I finally need to get her on a "schedule" because her "schedule" for the past two weeks is wake up whenever she feels like it ( meaning wake up at least 15 times during the night) What's up with that anyways? She's been sleeping through the night for at least 2 months! So if anyone has tips...I would greatly appreciate it ;) Now I need to go play with my favorite little girl...even if it is 1 in the morning

Merry Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Merry Late Christmas and Happy New Year from the Rohner home! We had such an amazing Christmas this year. It was Brynlee's first Christmas which is always fun, even though she had no idea it was fun to get all ready for the holidays with her. I feel like everything is so much beter with a baby. We went to a family Christmas party and the kids put on a nativity which was so cute. Brynlee got to be an angel :) On Christmas Eve we went over to my parents house and had a yummy dinner and then went on a hay ride with all the Rohners. Grandma & Grandpa Rohner took all of us to California to go to Sea World (for my first time) and Disneyland it was so fun! It was fun hanging out with everyone. Brynlee loved all the lights at Disneyland at night it was cute to watch her look around at everything. I can't wait to go back when she can actually understand it! Then we came home and Jen & Mitch had come from Utah with Caden! All in all it was pretty much an on going party...
