Cabin Trip!

Last weekend we spontaneously decided to go up to Pinetop. Best idea we've ever had. It was so nice to just get away and do nothing, we loved it! My parents came up the second night we were there and it turned out to be some really fun family time! Brynlee wanted to steal Katelyn's purse the entire time, she developed some new tricks, and explored the cabin like 70 times. It was so fun, thanks grandma and grandpa hatch for letting us stay in your cooozy cabin!

haha just had to add in a little story from this morning...i woke up to brynlee saying"ow ow owie owie" as she pinches my arms and legs...she's way too funny

Alright alright...here's the big news.

This little heartbreaker is going to be...

a BIG SISTER!!
It's true...come next march we will have another little munchkin to call our own...let's hope we can teach her how to be "soft" before then.

Two Weddings and a Funeral...

1. My cousin Kimi Jo got married to her now hubby Scott...Congratulations Kimberly & Scott! We're so happy for you!! It was so much fun going to Utah to visit everyone thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!


2. Tawnie & Seth got married the same week and we couldn't be happier for them!! It turned out to be such an awesome day! Don't worry I don't have any pictures of her wedding. Which leads me to the...

funeral. Ok a little dramatic? Yes. Our camera is dead. It worked fine until we really wanted some pictures at Tawnie's wedding. It still turns on, and when you go to take a picture it focuses and then nothing. Anyone know how to fix it? I don't want to fork out money for a new one quite yet...

Now for a much needed update...

My baby is gone and is now a toddler! Yes she has been walking for the past month. She can now stand up by herself, run away from mom when she's getting into trouble, and MUCH more. She's out of control and is excellent at making messes while I clean up her last one. She's been so fun though I can't believe how much personality is packed into this tiny little girl! She's finally getting her 2 tooth. And we got her ears pierced (there's a little before and after picture below) I almost bawled, but I held it together. Lake Powell Trip

Lake Powell was so much fun this year. Brynlee loved the freezing cold water and all of the ducks. We discovered her love for graham crackers there...she's been obsessed with them since. Brave was nice enough to share some of his with her, it was too cute. There were plenty of dirty looks given and Tawnie got her to do "so big". Of course she won't do it for anyone but her...She got a bath in a tub, and her first tube ride :) We climbed Sandhill, which was brutal. I almost died halfway up but at least I made it right? It was seriously so much fun, Thanks Tim & Heather for such a fun vacation!

My Best Friends Wedding!

More important my best friend got married!!! We went to their wonderful sealing on Saturday and they couldn't have looked happier! Brittany of course looked gorgeous and their reception was amazing...Congratulations!! We're so happy for you guys! Love you!

What we've been up to lately...

Brynlee is definitely crawling, and when I say crawling I mean EVERYWHERE. She's into anything and everything. It's been a real eye opener this week as to how to baby proof a home. She's also clapping all the time, it's so cute. Grandma & Grandpa Hatch even taught her how to say "pat pat pat" as she's doing it. SO adorable.

We went on our first "lake trip" of the year, unfortunately once we got out onto the lake the boat stopped working...awesome. I took some pictures to document it anyways.

Brynlee loves swimming, so mom loves swimming. Anything to keep her happy!

We babysat my cute nieces for a day when my sister-in-law went to New York. (I'm just a little bit jealous :) I think poor Aubree and Peyton won't be inviting us over anytime soon...My sweet Brynlee was just a little bit of a bully. Aubree was terrified of her by the time we left, and I think Peyton had only half her hair left.

So it's official. As of a week ago Brynlee said her first words...of course the first was "dada" I wasn't suprised. But, the next morning "mama" was a part of her vocabulary! Sooo at least it wasn't too far after :) Now she has also added in baba and wawa. Ok I know those aren't real words but it's adorable. Of course Brynlee is only crying when she says mama and when she's happy she's says dada but that's ok it's much cuter than just plain crying.

Brynlee's first swimming experience = horrible. She screamed like an adult would scream haha it was pretty funny. She was pretty mad at dad for the rest of the night though. Good thing we had grandma there to console her.

A rough day at the salon...

Brynlee is SO close to crawling but she just can't get the hang of it. She can take a couple "steps" but then she just flattens out to grab the toy...much easier.

I didn't get any good easter pictures of Brynlee because it was really bright outside..but you get the point.
