I was hoping I wouldn't have to hear those words this pregnancy but of course my body is too impatient to wait the full 40 weeks. My doctor sent me over to the hospital last Tuesday just to be sure everything was ok...They hooked me up to and NST and left the room. I was trying to sit as still as possible, hoping that would stop any contractions? But of course I was having them every couple minutes. Then they came in 20 minutes later with my first Terbutaline shot...followed by another...than they decided to try an IV with fluids. If you know me I faint really easily and after 3 tries of getting the IV in, I passed out and the nurses started freaking out...so embarassing. Anyways after 3 doses of Terbutaline and 2 bags of fluids my contractions finally slowed down enough they decided I was ok to go home...as long as I was on bed rest. With a one year old. Seriously? We've had so much help from family this past week I can't even thank you enough! I'm secretly hoping at my Dr appt on Wednesday she tells me I don't have to be on bed rest anymore...keep your fingers crossed for me. I won't hold my breath.
I'm on to my 3rd book for the week...I read the Hunger Games first which is awesome, I definitely reccomend it. Then I read A Book of a Thousand Days which was really good too. I am now in the middle of Lucia Lucia and I'm really liking it so far. Any other suggestions?
Also my mother-in-law introduced me to the most scrumptious cookies called tim tans? I guess they're from Australia and they use them as a straw to drink hot chocolate. It melts the inside and sounds DIvine. I haven't tried it like that but they are SO good plain and with ice cream...
I just watched 24 online and I'm way excited for tonights episode! I swear it's the most addicting show...It came back on just in time :)
